I wrote a poem for my shoehorn today. If it was alive, I bet it would be might pleased.
Shoehorn
I’m a heel
But you lift my sole
Calloused as it is
You never leave my hangnailing
Toe to toe, we’ll always stand
You’re a shoe-in to win my heart
My precious horn of shoe
Awwww…
Horn of Shoe 🙂
It really hits you in the heart, doesn’t it? Or maybe to toe.
I just shook my head as I read and then realized this is a really thoughtful and great poem – Car wrote it. Who else would think to write a poem for their shoehorn.
Shoehorns need our love too. Do you know if you pour water on a shoehorn and hold it up to your cheek, it’s like being kissed by a dog?
I’ll never disrespect my shoehorn again. He has served me well over the years.
Loved the Poem, not so much shoehorns, I never had one myself.
